It's most likely just the armor. My mesmer's boobs underwent a huge enlargement when she got her Primeval armor - before that, she was average sized in her Tyrian armors.
Same thing with my ritualist. Ancient is still the armor with the roundest figures, while other armors tend to flatten her out more. I really haven't noticed any changes in the original character model, which is easy to test by taking off all of the character's armor and comparing her to an older screenie. I'm also a girl gamer, and frankly, I don't have a problem with having slimmer girls ingame. Consider how much exercise those girls get - if they have done hunting/fighting/running around the world since they were babies, of course they would develop slimmer. Sure there should be a bit more muscle, but just think of them as well-toned without being bulgy. And as a side-note, if the media suddenly flipped around and started showing only plus-sized models in everything, you think that's gonna be any better than the anorectic models they have now? People will still have eating problems, and the amount of overweight people will go through the roof. Anorectic models aren't good either (I say we need to have something in between) but the fact remains that there will always be people taking their weight to extremes because of lack of self-confidence or other reasons. Banning all the skinny girls and replacing them with more robust examples will not solve the problem. |

so....some armors have a build in push up bra? Very neat indeed, wonder what about the guys? A pair of thick sock down the pants, perhaps?

Other than that, I think the character models are unchanged. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breast
The term breast refers to the upper ventral region of an animal’s torso, particularly that of mammals, including human beings. The breasts of a female mammal’s body contain the mammary glands, which secrete milk used to feed infants. This article deals with the human breast; for other animals, see udder and mammary gland. Breasts are more visible on adult women, but male humans also have breasts which, although usually less prominent, are structurally identical (homologous) to the female, as they develop embryologically from the same tissues. |

Well I'm no scientist but I believe humans are the only species that the female has protruding breasts at all times (not just times of peak fertility or after having babies). Most animals have only nipples all other times. Again, not an expert, but what reason could there possibly be for that? They're there for attraction, to draw the attention of potential mates. There's just no sound reason to have these large (much larger than any other species) sacks hanging from their bodies when the mammary glands are perfectly capable of being less "On Display". If you think that these things are merely functional and not at all for show, you have some thinking to do.

Actually, there is NO concensus as to why the female homo sapien mammary gland has more fatty deposits surrounding it than any other mammal. There is no concensus as to why the female homo sapien evolved thusly, or why human males evolved to be attracted thusly. Male gorillas are plenty attracted to female gorillas, and it clearly ain't about the breasts. |

Yes, the female human breast can be attractive, but as you mature you will realize that there is a lot more to a woman other than her breasts, and if that is all you are interested in than you will not get much "action" in the years to come.
ROFLMAO!! ...... watching the clock ..... about time for a mod to come along and throw a lock on this thread, as it no longer really serves a purpose. |

Apparently breasts are also there to attract male attention. It is one of their uses. Males are attracted to them, and that isn't just by coincidence.

That or multiple people did the 3D modeling for the armours of the same profession and they forgot to set a standard. |
